Fabric details:
Dyneema® walls - The walls of the Samaya RADICAL1 are made of a 2-layer laminated fabric combining Dyneema® Composite Fabric and an ePTFE membrane. This fabric is unique to Samaya, and combines waterproofing, breathability and extreme lightness.
Dyneema® floor - Dyneema® Composite Fabric is a laminated textile made of UHMWPE fiber monofilaments between two layers of Mylar®. Dyneema® filaments provide the fabric's mechanical qualities, enabling it to resist tearing in the event of perforation, while Mylar® sheets hold the fabric together, providing excellent abrasion resistance and an unprecedented 20,000 mm of waterproofing. In addition to its performance, this material is easily repairable.
